![]() She comes up and asks what can she help me with. He had to go find the girl who was working the front because she was throwing out the garbage. Came a little before 8 last night and a guy in the tattoo area greeted me. Val, are you stupid? Why did you come a 5 th time? I have a monroe and wanted to get a lower lip piercing. Was only like $ 5 or $ 10 to swap out the jewelry. The piercer was a guy and kind of a jerk, I asked a question and he gave me a sarcastic answer. Needed a lip ring replaced because the ball came off and I needed help putting it in since I didn’t have anything in there for a while. I needed 4 and wasn’t going to spend $ 220 after taxes. I came here to get balls for some jewelry. ![]() I was only saying what U District location told me. 2 nd time, I come in two days after going to U District, the girl there argued with me because she says she was just over there and they DID have them in stock at U District. But I was told they would be getting a shipment in a few days. Surprise, U District didn’t have it either. Ended up going to the U district location instead based on their recommendation. 1 st time, asked to look at some standard lip rings but they didn’t have any in stock. Thanks again for always being nice, professional, and awesome! See you soon!Ĭame here for the 5 th time last night. I am thankful they look out for my safety and actually care about me. Why would you want something cheap IN YOUR BODY?! That’s crazy and not safe. Thanks again Kali for all your help! I see a lot of people are complaining about price of jewelry, I don’t think they understand that DR only sells QUALITY pieces. I am taking my little sister in this weekend b/c I do not trust anyone else to pierce her. But b/c they are so professional I would trust anyone their to pierce me, man or women. I also think its super cool that they have a female piercer named Kali who is very nice and helpful! Not many other shops out here has one. The people who have been helping me in the past 6 months or so have been awesome! I really enjoy getting to know the friendly counter girls, piercers, and the amazing tattoo artists. For the most part they have all new piercers and counter people. Since then they have a had a change in staff. So I have now been going to the Lynnwood Deep Roots for almost a year. While I won’t work with her ever again, I will definitely go back there for jewlery before I check else where! I am also in the midst of talking with Adam about a tattoo! His work looks really solid and I have a few friends who have been tattooed by him they all recommend him! I told her that I didn’t feel anything at all because my ears had stayed the same size but she just kept telling me I was wrong. I needed new plugs anyway, so I bought the same ones in 9/ 16ths instead, and she inserted them instead. She said she wouldn’t stretch me that day because I might get a blow out. ![]() She insisted that I was wrong, and that instead of 5/ 8ths, I needed to «stretch» to 9/ 16ths, (the size I was at). that could cause skin tears, extra scar tissue, added trauma, etc! She couldn’t get the new plugs to fit, so she measured my old plugs with the gauge wheel and told me that I was actually a size lower then I thought, and was closer to ½ (which I know was not the case as I measured them when I bought them!). She didn’t even warn me that she was making the first stretch, all of a sudden I felt her trying to jam my new plugs into my ears without a taper! I’ve never done that to myself or anyone I stretched either. She had zero «bedside manor» and didn’t seem interested in interacting with or even talking to me, really. I filled out my paperwork and went back to the piercing room with the female piercer, (whose name is never got). On top of buying new jewlery, I decided to get my ears stretched while I was there. The cute blue haired counter girl greeted me right away and was super receptive to letting me look at tons of different jewlery before buying - she was the best part of my experience there for sure. With that said, I was VERY impressed by the Lynnwood Deep Roots location! The entire store is immaculately clean, their jewlery selection is incredible and the prices are pretty decent even on their rose gold mandala ear weights (which I bought!). Unfortunately, the shop I apprenticed at ended up closing before I was able to learn more the more advanced piercings such as (most) genital piercings, micro-dermals, etc. I started as a counter girl, and eventually got a piercing apprenticeship. I have also worked at several tattoo shops in snohomish and king county.
